Most of the time the projects I am working on are my own idea or for my own use, but occasionally my husband Jeff asks for assistance. (I submit the superhero cape last fall as an example.)

Jeff also happens to be in Groove For Thought, the Seattle group recently seen on NBC's The Sing Off during December, and for their first post-Sing Off gig he asked me to make a scroll for a very hilarious bit in the show.

If you didn't attend the gig on January 14th do not fear, you haven't missed your chance to see my fine craftsmanship, which I will detail below. You can also see the scroll on February 18th! And, of course you would get to see a wonderful evening of GFT singing and shaking their "thangs", which I guess is a good reason too.

Between getting ready for Christmas, many Christmas celebrations, and then recovering from Christmas I needed a bit of a break from my constant flow of projects.

Well, time certainly flies, because I can hardly believe it's been a month since I last posted anything to this little blog. But, the good news is I finally got back on the project wagon last week.

About Me
I'm Maren and I inherited the "project" gene. While this probably isn't a scientific term, I believe it is why I am constantly starting (and usually finishing) new projects. I focus most of my efforts on various crafts, sewing, art, home decor, recycled materials and anything else that peaks my curiosity.
