When I was a kid I kicked ass at the Memory Game. (I probably still do.) You know the game with all the small squares that you flipped over and tried to match pairs?

I know this isn't really something to brag about, but I pretty much always won, ask my brother about it.  (He'll probably point out that he is a few years younger and that I don't remember a lot of events from our childhood, but I think he would still say that I was very good at Memory.)

Anyway, Henry is a few years away from Memory Game domination, but I thought it might be fun to create a Memory Game to help him remember friends and family.

Here is what I did...

I created a template in Word for 3" w x 4" h cards with a photo on one side and the text "Henry's Memory Game" on the back.

We have toys in all shapes, sizes, and colors in all corners of our living room, but what does my son want to play with more than anything else.... sticks, rocks, plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, and my slightly broken old Sony camera. (To be fair to him, it was broken before he got his hands on it.)

When a couple storage drawers were recently delivered in a very large cardboard box I decided to turn it into one of the toys that can capture his attention...a car.

About Me
I'm Maren and I inherited the "project" gene. While this probably isn't a scientific term, I believe it is why I am constantly starting (and usually finishing) new projects. I focus most of my efforts on various crafts, sewing, art, home decor, recycled materials and anything else that peaks my curiosity.
