My first set of felt food projects were great practice for my sewing skills, but my next group was all no-sew. I didn't really plan it that way, but after all that hand stitching it was nice to have a break and make something quick and easy.

I found a couple projects online, including this farfalle (aka Bow-Tie Pasta) from Treasures and Tots. Super easy! All that is required is felt, pinking shears, and hot glue.

Next an equally easy spinach (because I had left over green felt) ravioli. Also found at Treasures and Tots and the only additional item needed is cotton balls for the cheese filling.

Finally, a little whole wheat (aka left over brown felt) linguine with meat balls. This one was my one creation, inspired by the trim for my sandwich bread.

When we decided to get H. a play kitchen for his 2nd birthday, I also decided to make him some food to go with it.

Well some food turned into several different types of food including lettuce, tomatoes, pasta, pancakes, and bread.

When I started searching for ideas I just wanted to find one or two easy DIY felt food projects. Turns out there are TONS of great ideas, inspiration, and patterns out there.

My goal was really just to find something that wasn't cupcakes, pizza, or cookies.

About Me
I'm Maren and I inherited the "project" gene. While this probably isn't a scientific term, I believe it is why I am constantly starting (and usually finishing) new projects. I focus most of my efforts on various crafts, sewing, art, home decor, recycled materials and anything else that peaks my curiosity.
